The independent Scottish charity, the Constitutional Commission, is pleased to announce that a complaint made against it has been rejected by the charity regulator, the Office of Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR).
The Commission always regarded the complaint as baseless and vexatious. We are delighted therefore that OSCR has, following an initial approach to the charity, decided that ‘further action is not appropriate and the inquiry is closed’. The Regulator added that it ‘thanks the charity for its assistance with this matter’.
Now we hope very much that attention will focus on the substantive issue of the debate on Scotland’s constitutional future.
